INTRODUCTIONS

Melissa is my name. I am a screenwriter and a devoted film fan. For a long time, I have been trying to find the right way to share my passion for the moving image with other people. So, here we are. Hope you find this blog interesting and a safe place to share your ideas, opinions and personal favourites. My goal is to give voice to my views on determined films and television shows that I have been watching, but to also promote the work of other independent artists that produce outstanding work that does not often receive the deserving attention.

Who am I? I am a History, Film and Creative Writing graduate. For three years I have divided my attention between the early modern period and the fascinating lives of our ancestors, Jon Yorke's precious advice on screenwriting and countless films that opened my horizons into understanding better the masterpieces that we're so often gifted with. With the pandemic, I found the perfect opportunity to combine my three passions by exploring the lives of ordinary people, extraordinary people, and not so nice people, on screen.
